Mr. Lippre is a very experienced orchestral conductor, having conducted over 300 concerts all over the world. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Pepperdine University, his Master of Arts in Music from C.S.U.L.A. and his Doctor of Musical Arts from Cret-Berard Institute in Switzerland. His teachers include Leonard Bernstein, Michael Tillson-Thomas, Josef Gingold and Laurence Christianson. Mr. Lippre’s orchestras include The Observatory Symphony Orchestra (of which he is currently Music Director and Conductor), The Los Angeles City College Orchestra (ten years), The California Jr. Symphony (founded by Peter Meremblum, ten years), The Chanterelle Music Festival Orchestra, and the highly acclaimed Marshall H.S. Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Lippre has also been guest conductor for numerous college and professional orchestras.
     In addition to Mr. Lippre’s work with the Observatory Symphony Orchestra in Los Angeles, he is currently a very active guest conductor. Most recently he has been invited to conduct in China. To this date he has conducted over 35 concerts in China and has more scheduled. Mr. Lippre has performed in Europe, China, South Korea, Japan, the Philippines, Taiwan and all over the United States.
